2024 Mermaid Parade Route

The Mermaid Parade Route may vary slightly each year. The parade kicks off at the staging area at the intersection of West 21st Street and Surf Avenue. All marching groups and non-motorized floats are required to register at this location. For Antique Cars and Motorized Floats, the check-in area is on Surf Avenue between West 20th and West 19th streets.

After the parade, Cars and Motorized Floats can conveniently park on W. 10th Street once they have completed the parade route. However, it's essential to note that no vehicles are allowed on the Boardwalk at any time during the festivities.

The Mermaid Parade Route spans an impressive 3,500 feet, starting from West 21st Street and ending at West 10th Street. As the parade makes its way along the route, the judges' viewing stand awaits at West 18th Street on Surf Avenue, where they will admire the vibrant and creative displays.

The Mermaid Parade ends on the Boardwalk at Steeplechase Plaza, typically around 4:00pm, where the celebration wraps up with joyous smiles and memorable moments.
