Mermaid Baking

April 2025 - Mermaid Baking has been taking off ever since The Little Mermaid hit theaters way back in 1989 - Wow, has it been that long? Mermaid birthday parties have been the talk of the town ever since. What better way to celebrate than to bake something sweet and delicious in the oven!

It is a great excuse to get in the kitchen and do some baking: Mermaid Cookies / Mermaid Cakes / Mermaid Delights! It does not need to be complicated and is fun when you do it with friends and family.

Mermaid Cookies in 5 easy steps

Step 1: Gather your ingredients and unleash your mermaid magic! 🌟✨
1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
½ teaspoon baking powder
¼ teaspoon salt
½ cup unsalted butter, softened
¾ cup granulated sugar
1 large egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Food coloring (blue, green, or any mermaid-inspired shades)
Edible pearl decorations (optional)
